Most broker comparisons stop at “spreads from 0.0 pips” — a line almost every raw-spread broker prints. The number that actually matters is what one round turn costs you after commission, and what you can claw back afterwards. Judged on that, IC Trading fees are among the more competitive offshore options available in 2026, and the broker backs its pricing with two things many rivals do not publish at all: a tiered commission rebate and a free VPS.

This article looks only at the money side — pricing, rebates, non-trading costs and fund protection. For the wider picture on regulation, platforms and support, read our IC Trading Review 2026. If you want to go straight to the source, you can open an IC Trading account here.

IC Trading fees at a glance: what each account charges

There are three live accounts, all sharing a $200 suggested deposit, leverage up to 1:500, a 50% stop-out level and 61 forex pairs:

  • cTrader Raw Spread — cTrader only · spreads from 0.0 pips · $3.00 per side per $100k ($6.00 round turn) · up to 2,000 open orders
  • Raw Spread — MetaTrader 4/5 · from 0.0 pips · $3.50 per side ($7.00 round turn) · up to 200 open orders
  • Standard — MetaTrader 4/5 · no commission · spreads from 0.8 pips · up to 200 open orders

On one standard lot of EUR/USD that works out at roughly $6–7 all-in on cTrader Raw Spread, about $7–8 on MT Raw Spread, and around $8 on Standard (0.8 pips is about $8 a lot). The commission-free account is the most expensive of the three — worth knowing before the “$0 commission” label does its work on you.

Execution sits behind that pricing: IC Trading runs enterprise-grade servers in the NY4 data centre in New York, cross-connected by dedicated fibre to its pricing providers, and accepts trade sizes from 1 micro lot up to 200 lots through its bridge.

The rebate most traders never claim

IC Trading’s ICT Trader Max programme pays automatic daily rebates on commissions once you clear a volume threshold:

  • Tier 1 — $1.50 per FX/metals lot · 100 closed lots
  • Tier 2 — $2.25 per lot · more than 1,000 closed lots
  • Tier 3 — $2.50 per lot · 2,000 closed lots

You have to hold that volume across a rolling three-month window to keep the rebate, it applies to forex and metals positions only, and access is by application — you complete a form and the client relations team reviews it. It is not switched on automatically when you sign up.

The arithmetic is worth doing. A Tier 1 trader on cTrader Raw Spread pays $6.00 round turn and gets $1.50 back, giving an effective cost near $4.50 per lot — genuinely low for a broker still accepting retail clients at 1:500.

Free VPS, if you trade enough

Algo traders get an IC VPS subscription at no cost once they hit a monthly volume target on forex and precious metals:

  • Standard — 15 lots/month · 1 CPU · 2GB RAM · 60GB disk
  • Pro — 30 lots/month · 2 CPU · 4GB RAM · 80GB disk
  • Premium — 75 lots/month · 4 CPU · 6GB RAM · 90GB disk

All plans run Windows Server with execution latency quoted at under 20ms, and connecting is a straightforward RDP file. The catch is real but modest: it covers MetaTrader 4 and 5 only — cTrader users are not included — and if your volume drops below the threshold the subscription stops being free.

Non-trading IC Trading fees: the quiet win

This is where IC Trading is cleaner than much of the competition:

  • No broker fee on deposits or withdrawals on any method (intermediary bank charges on wires are still yours)
  • 10 account currencies — AUD, USD, EUR, GBP, SGD, NZD, JPY, HKD, CHF, CAD — so conversion spread can be avoided entirely
  • Cards and e-wallets are instant; bank transfer takes 2–5 business days
  • Crypto (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH) clears instant to 2 hours
  • Local payment rails for BRL, VND, PHP, JPY, MYR and THB, instant to 24 hours
  • Withdrawal cut-off is 06:00 MUT, and third-party payments are not accepted

For a trader in Vietnam or the Philippines that combination — a local transfer plus a zero withdrawal fee — removes the two costs that usually make an offshore broker expensive to actually use. You can check the current method list on the IC Trading funding page.

Swap-free across every account

Unlike brokers that fence Islamic accounts off into a single product, IC Trading applies swap-free status to all account types, Raw Spread included, across 50+ instruments in forex and commodities, on every platform. You keep the 0.0-pip raw pricing and drop the overnight charge — a combination rarer than it sounds.

What protects your money

Two things, and both deserve to be read precisely.

Segregated client trust accounts held with top-tier international banks. Standard practice, but still worth confirming.

Insurance coverage of up to US$1,000,000, covering a client’s available balance and open CFD positions, triggered only in the event of Capital Point Trading Ltd’s insolvency.

Where the cost story is weaker

A fair look has to include these:

  • Regulation is Tier 3. Capital Point Trading Ltd holds FSC Mauritius licence GB21026834 — a real, verifiable licence, but there is no investor compensation fund behind it. That is the trade-off you accept for 1:500 leverage.
  • The rebate and the free VPS only count forex and metals. Index, stock and crypto volume does nothing for either.
  • The Standard account is the dearest, despite being the one marketed as commission-free.
  • 1:500 leverage is not universal — indices, crypto, bonds and futures are capped at 1:200.
  • Support is the recurring complaint. IC Trading holds 4.6/5 on Trustpilot from 600+ reviews, none of them invited in the visible set, but it replies to only about 28% of its negative reviews, and slow responses come up repeatedly.
  • Not available to residents of the United States, Canada, Israel, New Zealand, Iran or North Korea.

How IC Trading fees compare with the wider market

The useful benchmark for a raw-spread account is $7.00 round turn per standard lot — that is roughly where IC Markets, Pepperstone and most of the ECN field sit. IC Trading matches it on MetaTrader and undercuts it on cTrader at $6.00, then goes further with a rebate the mainstream brokers generally reserve for negotiated professional deals.

Against a commission-free market-maker such as XM, the picture flips depending on how you trade. XM charges nothing per lot but earns its money in the spread; IC Trading’s Standard account works the same way at 0.8 pips. The moment you trade often enough to care about the difference, the raw accounts win — and that is exactly when the ICT Trader Max rebate starts paying out too.

The honest counterweight is the regulator. A trader who values FCA or ASIC protection over 30 cents a lot should pay the extra and sleep better. If you have already decided you are trading offshore, IC Trading’s cost stack is one of the better ones on offer — the current spreads and commissions are listed on the IC Trading accounts page.

Frequently asked questions about IC Trading fees

Does IC Trading charge a deposit or withdrawal fee?

No. IC Trading does not apply a broker fee to deposits or withdrawals on any funding method. Intermediary bank charges on international wires are still passed to the client, and there is a 06:00 MUT daily cut-off for withdrawal processing.

Is there an inactivity fee?

IC Trading does not advertise an inactivity fee on its published account pages. As with any broker, check the current client agreement before you leave an account dormant with a balance in it.

Which IC Trading account is cheapest?

cTrader Raw Spread, at $3.00 per side ($6.00 round turn per $100k) with spreads from 0.0 pips. The Standard account is commission-free but its 0.8-pip floor makes it the most expensive of the three in practice.

How do I qualify for the free VPS?

Trade 15, 30 or 75 lots a month on forex and precious metals for the Standard, Pro or Premium plan respectively. The VPS runs Windows Server and supports MetaTrader 4 and 5 only.

Are the rebates automatic?

The payouts are — they are credited daily once you are in the programme. Getting in is not: you apply through a form and IC Trading’s client relations team reviews the application, and you must sustain the qualifying volume over a three-month period to keep the tier.

Who this pricing suits

Good fit: scalpers and algo traders doing real volume on forex and metals, who will actually clear 100 lots a quarter and put both the rebate and the free VPS to work; traders who need swap-free without giving up raw spreads; anyone funding from Southeast Asia or Latin America who is tired of paying to move their own money.

Poor fit: low-volume and beginner traders — you pay the headline commission with nothing coming back, and you carry Tier-3 counterparty risk for pricing you could nearly match at a regulated broker. Stock and index traders get the least out of the rebate structure.

Verdict: 4.6/5 on cost

Priced on its own terms, IC Trading is strong. $6.00 round turn on cTrader Raw Spread sits at the sharp end of the market, the rebate ladder is published rather than negotiated, the VPS is a genuine saving for EA traders, and zero deposit and withdrawal fees across ten currencies removes friction most offshore brokers charge for. The US$1,000,000 insurance is a real addition, with the aggregate wording as the asterisk.

What you pay for that pricing is a Tier-3 regulator with no compensation scheme behind it. Size your positions with that in mind and the cost structure holds up well. Our full assessment of the broker as a whole, including the parts that have nothing to do with fees, is in the IC Trading Review 2026.
